You could open RegEdit and make a search for Oblivion under the HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Bethesda or HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\WOW6432Node and also under HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\GOG.com and maybe even under HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Steam if Steam creates keys there. After that every thing workd as normally, except with the refuge tents gone, there's still a door there from one of the tents. What I did to fix it was, I reloaded the save from right after I talked to Savlian and this time, instead of fast travelling, I walked back out through the Chapel and out the Kvatch gate, down to where the refuge tents had stood. But I didn't load it up in the TESC to check. I think there might be a script attached to the gate from where you go from inside the city of Kvatch to the wilderness outside Kvatch. That somehow disturbed the counter that's supposed to run between the time you leave Savlian and the time you get the message asking you to return and help him start rebuilding. › Thanks for the ideas, guys! After trying a bunch of the ideas posted I figured out what was going on.Īfter I finished clearing Kvatch castle, and I returned the Count's ring to the Imperial Guard guy who's going to rebuild the city (Savlian Matius is his name), I used the fast travel map to go and sell my loot.
