Microsoft highlighted all the way back in May that it was working on "new classes of innovations including the ability to double the frame rate of a select set of titles" with backwards compatibility on Xbox Series X|S, and it has now confirmed that the first of those games is Bethesda's Fallout 4.Īs you can see in the video above, the game now runs at 60fps on both the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, which is a big improvement over the 30fps max frame rate on the Xbox One X version.
